Acceptance of terms
By using CampBuzz, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. Please provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
Vendor directory listings & profiles
CampBuzz maintains a directory of vendors — the businesses that serve camps. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their own profile content. Claiming a vendor profile confirms you are authorized to represent that organization. CampBuzz reserves the right to edit or remove vendor listings for quality, accuracy, or compliance reasons.
Camp pages and press releases
Camps do not have directory listings on CampBuzz. Instead, a camp subscribes to a CampBuzz camp page — billed monthly or yearly. The subscription includes the camp's page and press releases: one per year on the monthly plan, two per year on the yearly plan. Pages and press releases are submitted by the camp and reviewed by a CampBuzz admin before they go live. Published camp content appears as camp-authored, contributed content and is clearly labeled as non-editorial. Camps are responsible for the accuracy of the content they submit.
Subscriptions and paid features
Paid tiers (including vendor Pro subscriptions and camp page subscriptions) are billed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout and can be canceled at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Nothing in these terms guarantees specific results, visibility outcomes, editorial coverage, or placement.
Camp subscription refund policy
Camp page subscription fees are non-refundable once the page has been approved and published. If CampBuzz reviews submitted camp content and does not approve it for publication, the subscription fee for that term is refunded in full.
Editorial independence
CampBuzz controls its editorial content. Paying for a listing or subscription does not buy favorable coverage, influence articles, or guarantee editorial mentions.
Content and intellectual property
CampBuzz owns the content and design of the site, unless otherwise noted. When you submit content (such as a profile), you grant us a license to display and distribute it as part of the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. CampBuzz is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions you make based on vendor directory listings, camp press releases, or editorial content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CampBuzz is organized. Any dispute will be handled in courts of competent jurisdiction there.
