Its designs meet or exceed ACCT and Climbing Wall Industry Group standards.
Challenge Design Innovations (CDI)
Challenge Design Innovations (CDI) is a family-owned challenge course builder that designs, builds, inspects, trains, and equips ropes courses, adventure parks, zip lines, and climbing walls nationwide, including for summer camps. Founded in 1980 when Jim Wall built his first ropes course and zip line in Sanford, North Carolina, it is now led by his son Corey Wall. With 45+ years in the field, CDI recently acquired Rock Edge Gear, expanding its equipment offerings.
Experiential Systems, Inc. (ESI)
Experiential Systems, Inc. (ESI) is a full-service challenge course company that designs, builds, inspects, repairs, and trains for ropes courses, zip lines, climbing walls, and aerial adventure parks. It describes itself as the first and only North American ISO 9001-certified challenge course company, with clients including camps, universities, resorts, and the military. ESI has been building since 1983 and conducts inspections and certifications to ACCT, ASTM, ACA, and CWA standards on its own courses and those built by others.
Synergo
Synergo is a Portland, Oregon-based adventure course company offering design and installation of challenge courses, zip line tours, and aerial adventure parks, plus inspection, training, gear, and facilitated team-building programs. Founded in 1994 and owned by Erik and Jennifer Marter, it has grown from local experiential programming into an internationally recognized builder while remaining a Pacific Northwest leader. It runs team-building programs at numerous Oregon camps.
